NEC VT470 Digital Video Projector 2000 ANSI Lumens

NEC VT470The NEC VT470 is the ultimate solution to project in schools/education at the best price performance ratio. With a resolution of 800 x 600 pixels and a light intensity of 2,000 ANSI lumens, it is the best presentation partner for schools and medium sized companies. The various connectivity options (incl. RGB-out) and the short throw lenses are only some advantages of the VT470. The auto keystone correction of +-30? brings the picture always into the right shape, if the projector has to project up or down in a certain angle to the wall, without any manual adjustment.

The VT470 is almost noiseless with its 30 db and therefore highly recommended for classrooms, small meeting rooms. One of the new features is the manual wall color correction, that adapts the colors so that the presentation always looks bright, even if you project on a chalk board or colored wall. To save costs on the lamps the VT470 has an eco mode that extends the lamp life up to 3.000 hrs. and in addition an off timer to shut down the projector automatically after a certain time.

Customer Review: Good experience

I had bought the same product some days before and I had a bad experience, but they refunded and I buy it again in other Amazon store. This time the product was shipped on time and in good conditions. I think that maybe they make mistakes but also have an excellent customer service.

Customer Review: Great mobile projector.

This is a great little projects if you travel. I use it teaching classes at my university as a backup when the room projector doesn't work. It's so portable you don't mind throwing it in your case with your laptop. On the road I take it even when there is supposed to be a projector, for those cases when the site projector is old or on the fritz.

Customer Review: LP70+

I bought this projector for business presentations. It is very small and light weight. The first one I had failed immediately. The power supply was bad. I sent it to the repair facility in Louisville, KY. After a month they were still waiting for parts so they replaced it. The second time I used the new one it went dark midway through a presentation. It worked fine after I let it cool off. I really like the small size and power of the unit. I just hope that mine is an isolated case.

Whether you're presenting or simply capturing information in a group meeting, you won't want to be without the InFocus LP70+. 1,400 powerful lumens flood any room with brilliant color and unparalleled clarity. Integrated data, video, and audio yield a projector that's ready to make your multimedia presentation larger than life.

Customer Review: Good Product

I bought this machine for my classroom and it works great. It set up easy- I didn't need to use the directions to get it working. I plugged it into the wall and hooked the cable up to my ibook and turned it on, hit enter and it was running. I run the machine with all of my overhead florescent lights in my class on and the clarity of the picture is great. I have not tried viewing video on it, yet, which is why I only gave four stars. I did my homework before buying this machine, and given the opportunity would purchase it again.

Customer Review: the replacement works I got the screen but at first it doesn't retract at all. the worse thing is that the screen fell out of the enclosure within 2 days. luckily I bought it from amazon so I got a replacement within a few days. The replacement works perfectly, I can easily retract it completely . I bought the cheap optoma ep716, so this is more than enough for the SVGA projector. The result is pretty bright and clear picture and I am happy with it. I only give it 4 star since it failed me once.

Customer Review: basic screen - you get what you paid

Got excited to find this screen shipped at such a good price. Received brand new in factory perfect box. Well packed. The box and screen are labeled "Panoview". The hanging components are the same of some other "no name" brand that I found on eBay. Still price was cheaper than eBay. The screen material feels like rubberized, so I guess you can make good on cleaning with a damp cloth. The screen has a 2" black frame literally painted on top of the screen. The screen material is thick, so it doesn't feel like it will tear easily.

It reminds me of the plastic used to cover a picnic table. The mechanism makes it easy to pull down and fix it at any length you want. It will stay. My problem has been to find an easy way of making it roll up all the way. I found that the easiest way to store, is to pull the screen all the way out, give it a quick tug and let it roll quickly, keeping control of the pull-handle at all times so it doesn't crash at the top. For me it was very easy to install hanging from the ceiling.

You can also fasten to a wall by putting two screws almost all the way. The plastic end covers of the screen have slots that lock on the screw heads. Image reflection from my Infocus X1 looks good from many angles, even during daylight but no direct sun. An affordable screen is what I was looking for and I can live with it. I would spend more money on a better screen, if this was not my first home theater "system".
